If they approve someone who sends junk traffic (blind, untargeted traffic), who lowers their EPC or causes lots of refunds and chargebacks, then it ruins their launch because affiliates don&#8217;t want to bother with  low converting offers or ones with a large numbers of refunds. There are simply too many other offers to promote it&#8217;s not worth the risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have no record of conversions on the site, they won\u2019t know whether or not you\u2019re trustworthy. So often, the vendors go looking for information about you. If you\u2019re BBQMan1972 that doesn\u2019t tell them as much as your actual name does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With your real name, they can do things like Google you to see if you have a website, and if so, how spammy or valid is it? They can also look you up on Facebook and see if you have any mutual friends or see how your posts look and whether or not they get engagement or are spammy as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They can head to YouTube to see if you have a channel and watch your review videos to see what they\u2019re like. Of course, you can also add some of that to a note, but transparency is good all the way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers like knowing who they\u2019re buying from, so as a vendor, it\u2019s always a good idea to use your name and a real photo in your bio. This gives the consumer confidence about who you are \u2013 and it also helps affiliates feel comfortable sending their subscribers to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Take Time to Develop Connections for Approval<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting approved isn\u2019t just for affiliates. While vendors can launch a product with Warrior Plus approval, affiliates will also be sizing them up to see if they want to promote for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From an affiliate standpoint, if you have no track record, you have to prove to vendors that you\u2019re worthy of approval. You might want to mention your plans for reviewing and promoting their upcoming launch. This might help them put you on a short list to send a review copy to whenever it\u2019s ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to, make a post about the upcoming product and tag the vendor in it. You might say something like, \u201cCreating an awesome bonus for people who grab John Doe\u2019s (product name) through my link next Thursday. Can\u2019t wait to tell you about it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing that happens with public connections is that others watch to see who is promoting products like the ones they\u2019re launching. So if John Doe\u2019s marketing friends see your post, they might approach you to promote for them, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right before you apply for approval, shoot a quick message to the vendor and let them know you have your bonus or promo ready and that you\u2019re going to apply under your username (and let them know what that is).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve made friends with them, then the fact that you have no stats to stand on won\u2019t work as much against you. Being friends on Facebook, they can see that you\u2019re a real person, with friends and family \u2013 not someone trying to hide who they are so they can make some scam sales in a hurry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a vendor, you\u2019ll want to take the same approach, only you\u2019ll be targeting people who promote the same kinds of products as the one you\u2019re launching. Network with those affiliates, and do it in a friendly way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever your JV page is ready for your launch, post it publicly. Don\u2019t tag everyone. Save that for a leaderboard, if you run a contest. If you have a good rapport with some of the affiliates, send them a short, quick message letting them know the launch is coming up \u2013 and be sure to send the link to the JV page, along with a review copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just don\u2019t stay silent and fail to engage with them and then spring the request on them.
